A branded interface can lend an added touch of professionalism to an event, according to Infinite Conferencing’s Web Application Specialist, Ashlee Tate. Tate pinpoints client meeting needs and creates a customized, functional Web experience for them.
“It really depends on what the client needs to accomplish,” she says. Customization requests range from simple to quite complex. One customer might just need to add a logo to a registration page, and another might want to present custom interfaces and functions to meeting participants.
The common factor in Infinite Conferencing’s custom Web pages is thorough testing. “We make sure our clients can use these designs seamlessly,” Tate says. “We provide expert troubleshooting and ensure there are no surprises when participants register for a call, or a client starts a meeting.”
Who benefits from customization?
Often, our larger clients want customized pages, or those who regularly hold conferences. One example would be a research firm that wants study participants to see a single corporate image, so there’s no question they’re in the right place,” Tate, who received her degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State two years ago, explains.
With Infinite Conferencing’s reasonable one-time build-out fee of $500, almost any client can afford to have a customized registration page and meeting space built for them. “We can even make sure the domain name participants log into is in line with a company’s brand,” she says.
“Some companies charge four to six times more for the same service,” Tate says, “But we feel customized pages should be within reach for every client, regardless of its size or how many meetings they have.”
Understanding Client Needs
Tate, who started in the sales department at Infinite Conferencing, says she appreciates the opportunities to get creative while using her degree. And, she’s pleased to have begun in sales because she more fully understands client needs.
“It helps me confirm that everything runs smoothly. I know what our clients experience on a daily basis and understand what they expect, so I’m better able to deliver,” Tate says.
She also credits her clients for making her job interesting and fun. “In operations, we get to know clients. We have a good time talking to them. The relationships we develop help us provide them with what they want and need in a custom Web experience,” she says.
Tate says she enjoys seeing the end result: A client able to offer meetings on its own terms using Infinite Conferencing’s proprietary Web tools, regardless of its industry or location.
